You might have seen (if you read the “Marblehead Reporter”) that the Abbot Public Library had our microfilm collection of “Marblehead Messengers” and “Marblehead Reporters” digitized to make a Web-based archive. The newspaper issues from 1871-1976 are available to anyone who has access to the Internet by clicking here.
There is a second archive site which provides access to the Marblehead Reporter from 1977 – current year and the Clipping File 1900 – current year (from various newspapers and magazines). Because of copyright, these files are available only inside the Library.
Funding for this Archive has been generously provided by the Harold B. and Elizabeth L. Shattuck Memorial Fund.
