JUNE 2022 PROGRAMS

Teen Summer Reading 2022: Ocean of Possibilities
Saturday, June 11 – Wednesday August 31
For teens ages 13-18 or grades 7-12

Track your reading this summer and participate in Abbot Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge! When you sign up at the library, you’ll receive all you need to get started with our thematic reading trackers and bookmarks. For each 25 minutes, cross off an icon; for each 100 minutes, earn a stamp on your reading tracker; and for each 500 minutes, place your name in the Teen Summer Reading Raffle! Anything you read from magazines, books, graphic novels, audiobooks, etc. counts toward tracking the minutes you read. At the end of the summer, all minutes read will be added together to show how much we’ve all read in total this summer.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email the Teen Librarian at marteen@noblenet.org.

This program is restricted to teens ages 13-18 or grades 7-12.

A-Z Bonus Reading Challenge

As a bonus reading challenge, read a book for each letter of the alphabet! “A”, “An”, and “The” will go by the next word in the title.

Example:
A – Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor
B – The Bone Spindle by Leslie Vedder
C – Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas
