Clinical psychologist Evan Longin will discuss his book, “The Roots of Evil – A Postmodern Exploration of the Unintended Consequences of Civilization.” Longin will share his postmodern philosophical standpoint on the complexities of evil and how it can become present in our community. In addition, he will discuss the importance of defining the various factors of what leads to evil and how we overcome it.
Evan Longin taught for over twenty-five years at Salem State University, where he was a Professor of Graduate Counseling, and from his earliest days in the fields of Psychology and Education, he has worked with institutions and individuals struggling with society’s difficulties.
