Children’s author Jeana Reines Khan is a reading specialist, poet, performing artist, mother, and long-time resident of Marblehead. She will read aloud from two of her picture books and has a crown craft activity planned. She has written three books: Princess Leah’s Lion, Eli the Elephant, and Winky the Whale. This program, for ages 3-5, will feature her reading her most recent book, Princess Leah’s Lion, and her first, Winky the Whale. Winky, written in rhyme, is based on the true story of a young lost humpback whale who survived the winter of the new millennium in Marblehead harbor. Caregiers and registration are required.
