10:30 am: Moving and Grooving Playgroup with Brandi
Brandi Howard is a playgroup facilitator for the CFCE of the North Shore. Her groups include activities focusing on children’s fine and gross motor skills, literacy, balance, and coordination. Miss Brandi also ensures that all activities proposed in her groups encourage and support parent and child engagement.
11:00 am: Early Literacy Resources
Early literacy with CFCE community resources available with Director/Parent Child Plus, and of the CFCE Donna Connelly will be available to answer individual parent questions.
11:15 am: Marybeth Maes strolling and singing her favorites
MaryBeth Maes has been working as a music and movement coordinator with the CFCE of the North Shore for 7 years. She has been singing, teaching, and performing locally, as well as traveling in the US and overseas, for over 30 years. She just released her first all-original children’s CD/album, “MaryBeth Maes – Music, Movement and More.” She also performs at local assisted living spots and senior centers, using geriatric music therapy.
11:15 am: Simple crafts available to make and take for young children
11:30 am: Guest Story Time Reader Fran Sheridan
12:00 pm: Parting gift of free books! These will include choices of a board book, reader, or a paperback picture book for each child participant at noon when the program ends.
